For an order problem, include your order reference or Stripe receipt reference and the email used at checkout. Never send card details.

Use the browser that started checkout to open your order. Clearing its cookies or using another device removes automatic access.

PDF access ends seven days after checkout starts. Save your file before then. Contact us if you lose access or cannot download it.

A full refund within 14 days

Request a full refund within 14 days of purchase, even if you downloaded your hunt. You do not need to give a reason.

Send your request by email or post using the contact details below. Include enough information for us to identify your purchase.

Email a refund request

This opens your email app. Send the message to submit your request. Any clear refund or withdrawal request is accepted.

We refund the amount paid to the original payment method within 14 days of receiving your request. Your bank may take additional time to display it.

A refund removes access to the online download. Downloading the file does not remove this refund offer.

Your statutory rights remain protected, including remedies for faulty, incorrectly described, or undelivered digital content. The 14-day offer does not limit those rights.

Purchase terms

Birthday Trails is operated by zero-g-one SRL. These terms apply to purchases through birthdaytrails.party.

What you receive

The full hunt costs €10 including VAT, paid once. It includes a personalised PDF with three to twelve clue cards and a preparation guide.

You choose the hiding places, name, age, and paper style before checkout. No physical goods or birthday treasure are supplied. There is no subscription.

You need a PDF reader, an A4 printer, paper, and an internet connection to download the file. Printing costs are your responsibility.

You may save and print the hunt for personal use, including a birthday party. You may not resell the file or publish it for others to download.

Payment and delivery

Stripe handles card payment. Review the final amount before confirming payment. No additional delivery fee applies.

After payment confirmation, the order page shows PDF preparation and download status. Download access ends seven days after checkout starts.

If preparation fails, use the retry action when available or contact support. If we cannot deliver your file, you can request a full refund.

Keep the order link and use the original browser. Save the PDF before access expires. The refund period remains 14 days from purchase.

Safe play

An adult must purchase, prepare, and supervise the hunt. Choose safe, accessible hiding places and keep clues away from hazards.

The free mini hunt stays in your browser and has no payment requirement.

Problems and rights

Contact us about a faulty file, missing delivery, or other complaint. Our refund offer and your statutory consumer rights remain available.

Belgian law applies without removing mandatory consumer protections that apply in your country of residence.

Privacy

zero-g-one SRL controls the personal data used to provide Birthday Trails. Use the contact details below for privacy questions or requests.

What we process

• The free mini hunt processes the name, age, style, and route in your browser. Our application does not send those details to its server.
• A paid checkout sends those details to our server to save the order and prepare your PDF. Use a nickname if you prefer.
• We store order references, payment status, the charged amount, and a protected order-access token.
• Stripe processes payment and billing details. Our application does not store your full card number.
• Cloudflare processes network information, including your IP address, to serve and protect the website and enforce request limits.
• Messages you send to support are handled through the listed Gmail address.

Why we process it

We process purchaser and order information to provide the purchase contract, answer support requests, and handle refunds.

Our legitimate interests include securing the service and creating the personalisation requested by an adult. Only enter child details you are authorised to share.

We retain necessary transaction information for accounting obligations and resolving claims. We do not use child details for advertising.

Cookies and analytics

Paid checkout sets an essential order-access cookie that lasts up to seven days. It lets the same browser access the private order.

Our application currently uses no advertising or analytics tools. Stripe's checkout has its own privacy and cookie information.

Providers and retention

Cloudflare hosts the site, stores orders and private PDFs, and renders the PDF. Stripe processes payments. Google processes support email.

These providers may process information outside the European Economic Area under their applicable data-transfer safeguards.

Order access expires seven days after order creation. Scheduled cleanup then removes the personalisation details and PDF from active storage.

Database recovery copies can retain older data for an additional seven days on our current Cloudflare plan.

Payment references and minimal order records remain for accounting, support, and claims. Their retention depends on the applicable obligations and unresolved requests.

Support correspondence remains for handling the request and any related claim. Stripe retains its payment records under its own retention rules.

Your choices and rights

You can request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or a portable copy where applicable. You can object to processing based on legitimate interests.

We may need to verify your identity before disclosing information. Some records must remain to meet legal obligations.

You may complain to the Belgian Data Protection Authority or your local supervisory authority.
